Check out these bearings

    Wiped cam at some point, didn't clean engine/crank as needed.

    I wasn't gonna run a engine that I didn't know about. so I always do a tear down just to check for that reason. a set of bearings is better than a whole rotating assembly. it did have assembly lube on them. they were loaded

    The bearings I've been buying from ACL and Clevite are that color right out of the box.
    The scratches look like it's from dirt being present when assembled.
