who's done this when there's already a motor in there?
after you get the bolts out can you lift the engine a bit and slip the old ones out and new ones in. referring to the clam shell style & frame mount side. I'd love to change mine but only have 1/2" clearance from the top of the tremec to the floor pan. Not much space to lift. Prefer not to pull the motor and trans out to do this.
distributor wrench is handy and tape to hold your nuts in place
Yo! Absolutely a PITA! And I did mine WAY back when with the swivel, obstruction wrench, and lots of #$*&#$. Didn't have to move the steering to do it in my '76.
Good for another 100 or 200,000 miles though! Todd.
