Certification stickers

    In the upper right corner of the certification sticker on the inner driver side door is the date of manufacture. Is it coded as the first letter as the month, the next three digits the day of the year, and the last two digits the year?

    Thanks, twozs. What an idiot I am. If I had only looked closer at my assembly manuals, but I saw a 72 for sale with what looked like a coded date and was trying to figure it out.

    ^^ I'm sure you're asking about a 1973 so the below statement won't apply.
    For earlier year Camaro's the format of the date code will differ slightly depending on which plant your car was built. Plus 73 has more information on label. Just mentioning this in case someone else is interested in getting one made.

    Here's a photo from a couple of cars that I owned, these are 1970. basically the month format is different between Van Nuys & Norwood plants.
