Seafoam,I don't think it does much at all, bunch of smoke out the exhaust .I tried soaking my carbon fouled plugs with it,didn't do a thing. Soaked for 2 days.

used the Lucas fuel treatment in my Dodge Magnum every 5,000 when I changed the oil. Had 239,000 miles when I traded it and still ran like a top.

Take a propane torch to your carboned plugs. I've got to try rigging up a baking soda blaster for plugs.

With all due respect...that's not how it is meant to be used. These products work on stuff that's in good condition, not stuff that's 20 years caked/baked on crud. They are meant to help prevent buildup, not to be thought of as engine degreaser.

Analogy: floor sweeping. If your floor has light dirt on it, it will work perfectly and prevent any major buildup. If your floor is crusted, and caked up, it's already too late, and sweeping won't help much.

I am no expert by any means, but just hoping to help with regards to perspective.
