Anyone encounter a front end squeak from body bushings or coil springs? I rebuilt the front end hoping to get rid of the noise yet the squeak continues.

Don't know what it sounds like but you can usually narrow down the source of the squeak by raising the hood and bouncing the car while someone else follows the noise.

Do you have polyurethane bushings in the control arms?
Check for contact with the upper shock absorber washers too.

Rubber not poly, will not squeak unless under load moving down the road.

Just asking if anyone has had a squeak coming out of body bushings or coil spring.

I just read a post the other day about lubing the hood bumper stops. The bad squeak I had went away after doing that. Give that a try.

+1 on the hood bumpers. On my car the one at the back near the center was usually the culprit. Also, the rubber bumpers that support the bottom edge of the windshield have been known to squeak. I don't know if they really need to be on there after the windshield is installed. Maybe someone on here knows for sure.

The windshield supports need to be there! Without them your windshield will gradually slide down, especially when sitting in the hot sun.
