well hopefully it will be simple enough to figure out tonight, atleast I know that the driver side one in the posted pic is correct based on the steps, the front firewall steps are suppose to be the long ones..

Well it was a simple 10 minute job to swap out the bolts and retorque.
Body mounts are checked off list.

I like this thread but some of the original pictures expired or dont show up. Do I need to download a different program to see them or are they just outdated?

Thats exactly what i was looking for. thank you very much.
I have the bolts already soaking in PB Blaster for about a week now.
Mine will be slightly different in the front part ( I have a 79 Trans Am 406 sbc)
But I can see the front nuts thru the front air openings which should make this job quite a bit easier, I hope.

I have 4 of the 6 loose. The firewall bolts are soaking for a few more days.
One quick question: I have the rear bolts loosened, the large washer and rubber are rust welded to the bolts and dont fit out the opening of the frame Whats the answer for that?
    thanks for a great site.

There is a post that shows you how to gently lift the body up using a 2x4 / 2x6 and floor jack to give you a few inches of clearance.. if you cant break loose after a little lift, may have to go another route on removing..

Thanks, that makes sense to me now. Once the body is up it will slide out the slot.

5 of the 6 loose, drivers side firewall position isn't giving it up yet. More PB today!
