Best replacement carburetor for a rochester q jet

    I bought a reman Q-Jet from National Carburetor's. They dyno tune and flow bench before shipping. It has an excellent warranty and it was very affordable. I've had it on my 79 for over a year now, and the only thing I've had to do to it was bolt it on.

    I did the same but did not have as good of luck. National sent me one with two stripped holes and an ear broken off the electric choke retainer. It still randomly floods.

    I am still a believer in Q-jet's though and so are most in the know.

    Edelbrock 600 cfm carb. Depending on how much HP you got. You'd need the square bore adapter or new manifold though.
