Has anyone ever fabricated a bench seat setup for the front of a second gen? Buckets are cool, but benches can be fun too if you know what I mean.

I think the hump being tall as it is makes it kind of hard to do, it would make the seat to tall

For what it's worth.... Put the seat back as far as it goes and stick with skinny chicks. ;)

You may try to use one out of 1975-79 Nova or one of its cousins. It has the same floor pan

its not really the floor pan , its the seat itself . if you take a 2 foot level from the hump horizontally , that is the bottom of the bench at the very least . with a good 6 inches of frame and cushion , your head would be buried in the ceiling ( as the driver and passenger ) . that's why the nova seat is like 6 inches off the pan and the camaro sits right on it .

I call my 78 Seville a 4 door Trans Am. Those seats might be the closest fit. I have some blue ones for sale.

IF you can find one, a bench seat from a 1968 Camaro. (Yes it WAS an option.)
