    I still rememer the old cadillac that ran around Dallas with Q102 stickers as a paint job. Man that car was ugly!!!!

    If you want to donate a few I can give you my address. I have an old Q102 t-shirt that is faded but refuse to let it go. I still have a pic of my first 74 Camaro with the Q102 Texas Jam sticker from 87, 88, or 89.

    Sure was hot that year in the Cotton Bowl!! We called it the human barbacue... lol's:screwup:

    Yeah I remember when KZEW went off the air and played Christmas music 24/7. I felt as I lost an old friend when that happened!

    Is KLBJ still doin' their thing down there? I went thru high-school in Austin and sure miss that town:whine: My Dad was the cheif engineer at KOKE AM/FM during that time.


    OK.. since we got all the old farts waxing philosophical... anybody remember this?

    KLBJ is still going strong they're either playing Stevie Ray, Pink Floyd, or Led Zep at least every hour. Not a bad thing!

    I recall hearing of SRV's death while in Saudi... really bummed me out...

    Glad at least something survived.. lol:)
