Very cool man. I'm happy to see you out there pounding on yours while I'm still pissing away time building mine! Haha

I went to an Optima event as a spectator a couple years ago and want to try it out when my car is back together.

The season is coming to a close. I ran Road Atlanta with NASA this past weekend and have my last track day at Barber in two weeks.

The Camaro did great with the exception of a few mishaps. I broke a tailshaft bushing in the T56 on Saturday. But luckily a parts store had one so I got that fixed. Then on the last session Sunday I blew a right rear tire on the back stretch at about 130 mph. It damaged the quarter and the door but I held on to it. It could have been much worse. My racecar broke the driveshaft first lap of the day. I improved 5 seconds from earlier in June in the Camaro.

After Barber I will tear the car down and start some winter upgrades for next season.

Nice build man. I was just posting a thread about bigbrakeupgrade.com having GM tall spindle brembo partial for sale. They will accept all GM brembo factory option calipers and rotors. They also come with hubs already installed and studs.

Though I'd love to see your welded bosses on those calipers!!

That doesn't look too bad for getting her slowed from 130!

The Camaro has had a few changes made during this winter. New front suspension, wheels, and ALOT of of body work going on. It's almost ready to rock. It should be a completely different car with the new front end and 335 square tires. It has been a ton of work but should be worth it in the end.
