Mecum now has the catalog estimate for the one coming up between $12,000 - $17,000
Thats definitely the same car in the Denver pictures... wonder what lands it back at auction in Kissimmee. I have been watching for a few days and surprised how high some cars are getting. The two models I have been looking at are C3 Vettes and second gens. only a few late generation vettes are in my price range and some of the camaros have gone surprisingly high... Now this one does not have A/C and the Denver pictures don't show it quite as clean(i think some color Photoshop was done on that interior to make it pop more)...
I'm going to say if bidding stays hot I expect the higher end of that estimate.
To me at first it was surprising to see how many get flipped from one auction to another. It's just become common place.
I just had a friend explain that to me. I guess since it was not Colorado emissions compliant he dragged it across the country to try selling in FL. but 17K seems high for it just to try flipping.
i think i saw that same car at louisville mecum. if its the same car i passed on bidding as it was not a nice car up close in person for many reasons. think it was a no sale at around 16-18K. i was more like 10K.
I just went and checked, and sure enough Lot T56 was a no sell at $18,000
yup here it is. 18K no sale. i looked closely at it and was not impressed. sure has made its rounds. cost to ship to mecum events, cost to cross the block, and buyers/sellers premiums, crazy what costs have been spent on this avg. car.
Just missed this one today by $500 but sounded like a really nice car.
adding this redhead to the list for tomorrow, not t-top. but does look really nice.
Car looks great. Very clean. If it truly does have 500HP, even better.
I like that red one, kind of a stripper car but like BillyDean said, if its got 500hp that sounds like a ton of fun!
