I wouldn't mind getting the 1934 $100s if you were closer to me so we could transfer them and the return cash hand to hand. I don't like the idea of shipping today as none of the shippers are reliable anymore.

I started saving some, its really only the bran new condition are worth saving unless special. ( gold, silver cert) It all started with a $bill. from change at a gas station years ago, it had Hawaii on the back, red seal.

I had no clue, just trying to help if anyone collects these.
I assumed since the government burns everything they find at a certain age, something this old would be collectible??
No biggie, they have been sitting in one of my safes for 20-30 years forgotten about.

How much do you want for each/both $100 bills?

I think anything from the 1900's is still legal tender. Due to wear, they may not be worth much more than face value but they will still spend. If they go through a bank clearing house though, they WILL be destroyed. Contact a hobby shop that deals with numismatists (coin collectors) and see what they are worth. They might give you $105 for the $100 and try to get maybe $125 down the road a bit.

Why not go to your bank and deposit them? or get fresh bills.

Did you notice that the 1934 bill does not say "In God We Trust"
