Any issues with Griffin 870010LS 31.25" radiator hitting the steering gear?

I'm looking at this radiator and noticed is 3" thick and 31.25" wide....I was wondering if anyone had any clearance issues with this hitting the steering gear or getting the cooler lines in ? Seems like this would hit the gear, or end up really close to it.

Another concern is with it being that thick, does your air intake fit ok between the motor and radiator after adding a electric fan assembly? Planned on re-using my 4th gen fan set-up.

They make a 26" version of this but it is on backorder for almost a month, but if there are going to be issues on the other, I may wait on the 26" one...I want it to drop in place with no clearance issues..I've had enough of that with other things

Little confused about "hitting the steering gear"? Nothing that far forward having to do with steering in my 70...

This spot highlighted, I was curious if that wide / deep radiator / Elec Fans / cooler line fittings /.....hit that spot on the steering gear?

The 1st Griffin I purchased from Summit did not fit (hit my Steering Box) - I returned it and Griffin made me a Custom one

Those are performance fit radiators, which state that some fabrication may be needed. I have that kit sitting in my garage waiting to go in my Z28.

Ended up ordering this direct fit LS Radiator made by a company called Cold Case.

Lifetime warranty and all of the connections are on the passenger side

Got my cold case radiator in earlier...really liking it. This was a pretty good deal for $325 shipped I think...especially with the transmission cooler lines built in
