For me, the PRNDL anti-theft devices are best. I never learned to drive them correctly.
Millennial's idea of a manual shift pattern.
I guess 6 speed trans are the norm now..I wonder if it will ever go up to 8..
I've been looking at cars and while I'm not interested in anything more thna comfortable transportation, I've seen 8 and 9 speed transmissions advertised. Personally, I don't see the point but I guess with smaller engines your power band is so narrow you have to add gears to stay in it.
And nowadays we have the belt drive (CVT) transmissions. Rev up the engine and wait for the car to catch up. And most colors other than appliance white are extra cost, kind of appropriate I think.
Got a kick out of the spare tire cover.
There will probably never be more than a six speed manual transmission in anything other than a commercial truck, and many of them are getting automatics. Most likely (besides not many today can figure out a clutch), it's because the dumbing down of the population leaves those not-left-behind school graduates unable to count past their fingers.
Thank god for a dick so I can count to 11, or 21 as needed, HAA HA
If it's cold out, I can only count to 20 1/2. Real cold can go into negative numbers.
We had a driver come in at work that couldn't get his truck to start. When I drove they were all manual transmissions. Now, he couldn't get it started because he's only been driving an automatic for 3 weeks and forgot to put it in Park.
