Another Take On Hamburger

    Burger was on sale this week so looked for some other ways to make it came up with this. Kinda looks like dog food but taste pretty good. Think back in school they called this gravy train.

    Was actually pretty good. Recipe is pretty spiced up. Garlic, Basil and parsley.

    I read the recipe to my wife. Took a screen shot. Looks spicy!, which we like. She's going to make it. Not sure if over pasta or potatoes.

    I guess for it to be SOS it has to be over a piece of toasted bread. That is more like a shepard's pie. Either way I like that stuff too. My Mom mixed peas in with it. Put it in a bowl and stir it up eat with a spoon.

    Looks like shepards pie to me also. Good eats. A stick to the ribs kinda meal

    Had no idea what SOS meant so i looked it up. Over the years there have been many riffs on the dish’s name: from Sh*t on a Shingle, to Save our Stomachs, to Same Old Stuff. Original 1910 receipt was served over bread.
