    Hey guys,
I have posted in the main forum, but I figured I would try here as well. I am in the process of hooking up the AC in my 79. It had factory air. I have the compressor mounted and one hose going to the condensor. I was hoping to get some pictures of a complete system. I found a lot of shots online from the drivers side front corner, but I need some shots of the passenger side (rec. drier area) as well. Also I need advise on reman vs. new compressor. I have the A6
    Thanks!

whats the price difference between a new unit and a reman unit? I prefer new when its affordable.

Not sure, but did the 79s utilize the superheat switch on the compressor? That was a big price diff. Looks like the High and low pressures could have been controlled by a single switch. I did not see any other wires in the harness except the idle bump solenoid one (green). Not sure though
