I am finally building my 1/8 Scale Monogram 82 Camaro Pace Car. The chassis/floor pan needs to be detailed. Can anyone tell me what the paint finish is on the underside floor pan?
Also, is there any overspray near the rocker panels on the underside. Blue or silver?

Suggest chiming in on 3rd gen Camaro site. They should be able to help you.

1982 IPC Model15.jpg I did this exact model about 12 years ago and the bottom was silver. I went all out and did real T tops on it too.

Over spray was minimal on my real pace car -mostly factory sound deadiner and some blackout operations.

    Nice Job

I am not putting real t-tops on my model. They are going to be painted on. But I did scribe the outlines on the roof and painted them on the headliner.

What did you do for the lower stripes? Paint or decals?

Where did you get the decals?

I am planning to paint them on. Did this before for a friend and it was not easy.

OK here is how I did it... I took real pictures of the details on my real IPC and Printed the image. Next I used the scale reduction feature on the copier to get the scale that was closest to match. I then printed the stripes on laser label adhesive and then trimmed to fit.

Same deal right down to the Indy 500 Logo on the dash. 1982 IPC Model12.jpg
