It does not have a pushrod opening I will be running an electric fuel pump for the newer motor going in. Going to be some work involved but if it gets my car going again it will be worth it!

The TBI in my van runs pretty good. Make the big turd get up and go.

Anyone have an idea on changing over the oil cooling lines. The 81 Camaro engine doesn't have any oil cooling set up, just transmission cooling lines going to the rad. Can I just bypass the oil cooling system or is this going to be bad for the 92 sierra 350?

You can take the truck oil cooler adaptor off and put the oil filter adaptor from your old engine on. Then it will use the same filter you were previously using. Trying to bypass the cooler could be a pain and could cause some header clearance issues.

Perfect thanks! That clears two questions up. Was wondering about the header clearance as well.

Any ideas on what the 81 tourque converter to flywheel bolts would be. 9/16 wrench is too small 5/8 way to big. 14 mm won't fit and 15mm is too loose. Don't think Ive ever encountered anything like that before is there a specialty tool for it?

Probably rust caused the bolts to change size. What kind of tools are you using?

Just able to use wrenches, no room for ratchets. Trying to get the right size with sockets but nothing seems to fit. yesterday tried an 11/16 and that was too big. so need to try an 11/32 or 10/16 if I can find one
