    Hi all

I think this should work but just wanted to check. Need a new master and booster but prefer the 81 style which has alloy master cylinder and is tilted to compensate for the angle of the booster mounted to the firewall.
Both combos are a similar price but I just prefer the later setup compared to the earlier block of cast iron.

    Please let me your thoughts

Probably will work. My Camaro is an 81 but is titled a 78. It has the old style M/C. I guess the proportioning Valve would have to match. Not sure though.

That’s what I have on my 78 but you have to use both the master & booster. The rear port on the master is for the front brakes FYI.

You have to buy or make new M/C to prop valve lines.

I used the booster and master cylinder from an 81 on my 80 z28, I also used the proportioning valve and brake lines from an 81, I just replaced everything at once.
