hi folks. I have a 1978 Z28 and the park brake light switch has been disconnected. The switch itself is there and the wire is dangling nearby (easy enough to connect) but there does not appear to be anything that contacts the switch to activate it? Can someone please shoot me over a picture of theirs so I can see what is missing?

When the switch closes, it completes the circuit to ground if memory serves me. Should only be one tab to connect the wire to.

Thanks - but the problem is that nothing is actually touching the switch at all so the spring mechanism doesn't move. I bought a little silver clip that said it is for a 69 Camaro looks like it clips on to depress the switch when the foot brake is depressed, which would then earth the circuit and activate the light, but I cannot work out how to mount it. Hoping that someone can take a pic or at least describe what needs to happen??
