    Hi
I need to know that how much distance is required between exhaust muffler and headers collector ?
Engine is stock V 8 together with summit headers and 2.5 ‘’ dual exhaust with thrush glass pack mufflers and im going to use turn down pipes for the outlet .

You could bolt the mufflers right to the collectors but don't plan on listening to your radio or your passengers while driving. And putting the exhaust pipes down you're going to blow up a lot of dust/dirt that will find it's way into your car. Moving the mufflers farther back will make the interior a liitle more "accoustically pleasing" as well as having the exhaust exit out the tail end of the car, where having them turned down shouldn't cause any issues. Some people have them exit just behind the doors but I've never had them like that so I can't tell you the pros/cons.

    Hi
Im planning to buy cam shaft that I can use on street and strip .
I have found following cams for my stock 350 engine with 4 mv Rochester.
I need to know approximately how many horse power I will gain with each one?
I don’t want to get max torque above red line .
    Please help

I like the first one. But if you're going with the 4.11 you'll need something that will pull into the 6000 range. I'm not sure what you have but 3.73's would be good with it.

You could change the head gaskets to some thinner ones (depending on what you have now) which will pick you up a little bit. The only other way is pull the heads, which you would have to do to change gaskets, and have them milled. Which is easier than replacing the pistons.

Yes those gears aren't exactly for performance...unless you're going for top end speed.:p
