Car is looking good so far. This stuff takes a long time if you want it right.

so I started assm the front end to make adjustments before paint. I am so mad for getting rid of my orig fenders. I know now that they could have been repaired, I could have bought these new ones and cut the bottoms off to use as repair panels. These things fit like crap. It will take ALOT of time to make these right.

So, heres my update, Its been long time since I have really done anything with the Camaro, then I find out all the pics on here cannot be seen. So here goes.
I started and finished a truck project in the middle of the Camaro. I had sent the Camaro off to get Painted, and found that the car had so much cancer, we had to replace the whole back end of the car. Then that guy bailed out on me after the metal work was done; said he didn't have time to paint it. So, I brought it back home and was so frustrated, I covered it up and started the Truck. Here is a before and after of that. IMG_0413.JPG

So, now that Im back on, heres what we have. I sent the car to Ohio to Metal Art Customs in Piquah Oh.
It was delivered with all new sheet metal, most aftermarket, and also adding a RS nose front to it.

The metal work looks good. Are those aftermarket doors? If they are, make sure to do a window fit first to make sure they roll up and seal. I installed 2 new doors and had the car completely done before we notice the glass does not fit well when rolled up. I had to modify the adjustment areas to get them so seal. We looked at the GM doors and you could defiantly see something was off on the aftermarket ones. The windows are frustrating enough to align when they're OE.

I think the Metal work is just "OK" Darrell @ Metal Art Customs will make sure its straight and true. The doors are orig, just has a black sealer on them. They will be sanded down to bare metal before work on the doors begin. The front fenders are aftermarket and the qtrs and tail section.
