I figured I'd start a thread to showcase some of the things I've been updating on the car. I bought this 71' in great condition with alot of the parts already upgraded, but it's nowhere near what I'm visioning. So let's start...

    DSC950061~2.jpg

This 71' is equipped with hotchkis front springs/rear leafs, hotchkis rear sway, handle bars, 4 pt cage, custom 2G bar, sub frame connectors and tubular upper and lower arms.

Motor: Oval track crate 355ci, comp cam, aluminum heads, forged JE Pistons, forged crank, Holley ultra 650, single plane vic jr., longtubes, x pipe, flowmasters.

Trans: th350 with some built components.

    Stock rear.

    Plans:

Front wilwood or c5 brakes, rear disks.
    Wheels/tires
    Interior junk
    Better seatbelts
    Down the road...LS swap.

    Stay tuned.

Today I test fit some bullet mirrors I acquired. Need to paint match but I like em.

Also test fit some wheels, I will give details on the setup once I get everything ironed out.

Front and rear, there are existing adaptors so the fitment isn't ready yet. Will probably run 20mm front and rear as the Vette wheels currently run larger adaptors. XXR531

Nice wheels looks like the rears gonna fit better then your current setup ( not tucked in) unless the angle of the picture is deceiving. Bullet mirrors the way to go also, great car next one for me will be something like your setup.

Nice car! Lets see some more pictures of the hood.
I think I saw this at the GoodGuys show at CMS a couple of years ago.

    Got some brake updates.

I picked up a set of 2014 Camaro SS brembos, came with rotors and pads which I used a micrometer to check discard thickness. $300/all 4 corners.

Next will be FlynBye rear brackets, stainless lines, and bigbrakeupgrade front brembo partial spindles.

    Cant wait.
