    Picked up a 70 Camaro.
Amazingly enough I did find the build sheet on top of the fuel tank. The guy I purchased it from bought it in 1977. The car was hidden under a false identity since 1975, someone put a 74 front and back end on it. Once I looked at the car I new it was really a 70, and with the items I could see at a quick glance, I new it had to be at least an RS (Hideaway wipers, Z21 Trim, deluxe interior) and it wasn't a Z28 (had Air Conditioning). At that time I stopped asking questions, rolled the dice, and loaded it up. I really didn't care if it was a plain Jane Camaro, I just wanted to build another 70 Camaro. Finding the build sheet was a bonus and is one of the most exciting things about buying an older project/barn find car. The build sheet is in rough condition and some RPO's are hard to make out especially if you've never viewed other 70 build sheets. I estimate that the build sheet should have around 38 RPO's on it. I can make out 28 and a 3rd of them. The sheet is torn off and missing everything above Z87 and it has another Z right above Z87 which I believe would be Z27. Z87 is pretty low on the build sheet, so I think it has about 9 RPO's missing. The stock AM radio was still in the car, along with the stock windshield (cracked up very much so), but has the antenna, and the stock rear speaker wire was still there. So that would be U63, U76, U80 the interior is deluxe and rear seats still had the blkw/cc (713) and I think would be YO2 and YO3, lots of floor deadener in the car (Y05). Front seats are from a 69. I think Y10 would be there, but not positive what the custom trim would include. So that leaves the question, Z21 or Z22? I'm still missing 1 other RPO if there is 11 in that last column.
So this is why I was interested in the invoices or copies of the build sheet. No luck with either. I removed the original headliner and dash in hopes of finding another copy, no luck there.
Any insight/ideas would be greatly appreciated. Maybe there's something above the RPO's that gives it away as an RS/SS.
I know there's many folks out there in the Camaro world that know more about these build sheets than I do.
It's getting an RS front end regardless.. I'd like to follow the build sheet a little bit though, but it'll never be a numbers matching car, but as I said earlier, I just want to build another 70 Camaro (era correct would be cool again this time around).
Thanks, any feedback is greatly appreciated.
Questions are. What does the Y10 trim include?
In the list of RPO's, does Z22 push anything that Z21 didn't push. Remember, car had front and rear changed out to 74, so no obvious RS parts to look at.

I have a copy of a 1970 SS build sheet here (Van Nuys build). It has 37 rpo items listed, and 10 of them are in the last column
The last column for this car is as follows.

    U63 P/B Radio
    U76 W/S Antenna
    (Y02 Custom F/Seat
    (Y03 Custom R/Seat
    Y05 Flr Deadener
    Y10 Custom Trim
    ZJ9 Lite Group
    Z21 Ext Mld Group
    Z27 Super Sport
    Z87 Dxl Interior

I realize this doesn't help you with what might have been on the build sheet for your car, but it does show the sequence they used. This car doesn't have U80 Rear Speaker, so that could possibly be the remaining item missing from the column on your car.
Yours is an SS because the engine decal shows up on your sheet and also the L48 engine is there too.

Very difficult to read, but this appears to be L48 V8 350 CI...and the L48 was only available with the Z27 SS package. 00.png

also, the AC label in boxes 97/98 specify 350-300HP...which is the L48 noted above

So I'm guessing the car is titled as a 1970 Camaro and has matching VIN?

No doubt that buildsheet is from a SS 350 car.
    Z options that I've seen on buildsheets listed above the Z87 are Z21, Z22, Z23, Z27, Z28, ZL3, ZJ7, ZJ9

    Y10 Custom trim.

    From Gary S. 2003
Y10 appears to be the Custom Interior door panels, and side panels for the rear seat. It isn't something you could order separately, but any car that had Z87 on the build sheet should also have Y10 on it.

That makes sense, of the build sheets I've researched, Y10 is with Z87. I really appreciate the feedback. What about the top of the build sheet? Is there any wiring harness code or the mounts code near the AC label, or anything up top that might give it away as an RS?
