I did it but I dont have any great pics and I lost an ass cushion during teardown. haha I'll see what I can get.

I took the upholstery off the 4th gen seatback and put it on the 2nd gen frame and just used the cushions how they are. Down the road if I mini-tub it I'll just use the 4th-gen frame and it would look better.

Looks good Woody!! Just curious, but is the E-brake handle operational?

Yup. Routed the cable through the driveshaft tunnel and made brackets out of angle iron, I used Blazer cables because that's what I have for rear disc.

Woody, did the 4th gen upholstery fit easily on the 2nd gen frame? I ask because I thought about doing this as well. I was at the local pick-a-part recently and layed a 4th gen rear seat on top of a 2nd gen seat and the 4th gen seat was not as wide and as plump as the 2nd gen seat so I figured the upholstery would not fit.
Did you use the back side material as well or cut that off and use hog rings?
    Thanks! Your interior looks great!

Definitely wasnt easy to make it look ok. I warmed it up and stretched it as much as I could and the back of the upholstery had to be cut off. If I were to do it again I'd wait until I mini-tubbed it and just make mounts for the whole 4th-gen frame.
