Data code on the trim tag is a 75R. Interior looks maroon to me though. I’m wanting to order new door panels and new seat covers and want to get the right color. Also, no one seems to list the correct Z28 panels with the hole for the Z28 emblem. Any help there would be great also

The color is a one year only "Red". (standard vinyl)
Your carpet looks more like "Carmine" which was used in 80.

The hole for the emblem is also the hole for the window crank.
It's not difficult to cut the cardboard backing, fold the vinyl through it and add the Z28 emblems.

The after market panels have perforated holes so they can be used with or without manual crank. just have to cut the exterior for crank or if you have the badge that they used to cover the crank hole when car was equipped with power windows. 75R is Carmine I believe, which is red. I have the same.

I posted just after you. To me the carmine and red look alike. His seat panels on the butt part are dark and the sides are light like maybe someone had them sewn in to repair? I saw that kind of thing in the used car business when they sent things out to get fixed at a local Upholstery shop. A lot of times they used what was the closest match.

Carmine and red are close but not a match.
(I have a spare set of rear seat covers in 81 "Red", cloth and neither the vinyl portions or cloth seating areas are a match to "Carmine".)

Carmine was code 74 in '80.
Red was code 75 in 81.

I don't remember ever seeing the two-tone red seat in vinyl but they could be factory.

If you like the two-tone look... You might have to get them custom made.

52C454E4-C83F-4325-8E1C-38E5441530A4.png I’m probably going to order Carmine red door panels and seat covers. Then I can redye the remaining interior parts to match. I have to go pick the car up this weekend. So I have not physically seen the interior color. It has new carpet but who knows what color they ordered.

I could even go Black I guess since I am going to have to redo it but I like the red/maroon as it breaks up the color

I think your carpet might be Firethorn.
I would leave the dash and console black because I don't think carmine dye is available any more.

You can shoot a couple of different colors of SEM red to get a very close match to carmine.
(Shoot with Firethorn and overspray with Portola red, IIRC.)

I like the black dash with the red interior. If you want to go custom you could put some black “suede” center panels on the seTs to fully tie in the dash or go with black seats and red center panels to tie the carpet in. Might be too much trouble. Looking good though.

Twisted Metal is correct, it is a one year only red. My 81 has the 75N custom vinyl. The GM parts catalog lists it as med red, but it’s a pretty bright red. Chevrolet also used it in the 81 Corvette. The vinyl will darken over time to look like maroon. You can get the correct carpet direct from acc, but they don’t list the correct color under their standard colors for that year. You need to select “show all colors” and select the 7293 red carpet used for the 81 corvette.
