Time to sell a few of my cars to make way for a 69 Camaro. This is a 1980 Camaro 305 4 barrel factory 4 speed with build sheet. Quite a rare car. all original and numbers match black on black. Very close to mint. 82,000 kms or 50,000 miles. Second car is a 1981 Z28 350 4 speed all original, build sheet, both are Canadian cars. What do you guys think?

Those are goldmines! Can't give you a value, but that '81 350 4 $peed is definately worth some gold! That never came with a 4 speed in the states I beleive. Lucky Canadians, you.

Very nice cars!, Rare? Not really. It is a fact that an 81z28 350/4 speed combo was not available in the states, but it was in Canada and it is a "canada" car. Based on the pictures and assuming they are rust free, mechanically sound, and the pictures show the true car (zero rust, major problems, door dings, paint blemishes ect).

    $7500 for the 81z28
$5000 for the plane jane 305

If I remember correctly a 350/4 speed was available in the U.S. but NOT available in California. A 305 with a 4 speed was what you had to take. But I'm sure if you wanted that engine/trans combo you could get it anywhere else as well ....but who would want to.

I'll guess $6000 for the plain jane and $8500 for the 81 z28. I'm assuming the Z28 is very nice as well. The Z could fetch more if it is low mileage and the paint is about perfect.

I was thinking that too, but the rust spot on the passener door jam and the dirty carpet made me think of other potential value killers.

Both very nice and awesomely kept cars!

Either way, even with the minor rust, I would say they are worth more than I could afford for either car! I would love to own the 81 Z but the sport coupe 4-speed is a perfect, "simple & fun" car to drive and enjoy!

I would really like to know what is involved with transferring ownership of a Canadian vehicle into the US and specifically California...Anyone know???
