    Hi there.

Looking at a used original 1979 Camaro that the seller claims has the original 250 CID inline
    6 engine.

From my understanding all 1977 and up 250 inline 6 engines has the integral intake
    cylinder head.

Did F body cars still use the non integral cylinder head up till 1979?

    Thanks.

Thanks for the link. A good informative article but still doesn't answer my question.

I did some Google photo searching and from what I can tell, F body 250 inline 6 cars still retained the separate non integral cylinder head design.

Does anyone have a factory original 1977, 78 or 79 Camaro with the original 250 inline 6?

I have only seen two I6 camaros ever in person. The rest have been V8 or 6. Usually some one has pulled the I6 and swapped in a V8. The Two I saw were in perfect shape too.
