Hello everyone, I recently had to replace my turn signal switch and when I removed it the ball bearing fell out of the tilt column bearings. I called the dealer and of course they said it was discontinued. I found a GM part number for the bearing kit I needed on eBay, I called the Chevy dealer and they still have them in stock.

It's GM part number 7844651 Rack Kit. It comes with 2 bearings, the ignition arm, spring and gear. It worked great! This kit is for GM cars from 1977 to 1993.

Hope this helps someone who needs them. Joe

Found it on GM parts direct for $39. Not too bad!

It was $59.00 at the dealer and was a stock item. It really tightened up my steering wheel!
