    Haha! The wife would not let me...She gives me crap how infrequent I drive my million mile survivor...Let alone a one that really wouldn't be driven. Think about it...I would be the perfect owner.

    Did you treat the inside of the tank with anything? Reused the P/U tube and sock too. That is a lot of time and patience. Great car.

    No. I’m inpatient when working on stuff. I want it to run now. I’m sure there is still some crud but the sock and filter at carb should catch it.

    43 year old tires, I'm surprised they gripped at all, most tires lose their "stick" within a year of use
