1974 z/28 throttle cable bracket

    Wow, way cool. That's the pic I need. That looks very similar to another bracket I have, if not exact. My car's was short because it was cut.

    Maybe they interfered with some aftermarket parts so guys chopped them. I saw one source that showed 73-74 z28 were the same but the 74 Bracket was 74-75 only 4BBL, 74 Corvettes and Jimmy's of all things. Good luck I hope you have it, looks like a tough part to find.

    I think yorr right , my 74 454 corvette seems to have the same bracket. .....also about 30 years ago we had a 74 K5 Blazer with 350 , an I changed out the carb at some point and I think it had the same bracket with that odd shape with hole hanging way out on the end . That must have been for possible cruise control .

    Jonesy, zfool post #9 photo of the bracket is correct. I believe my 74 Z28 has the same bracket, but I am unable to view it now. But, this is a engine photo of a low miles 74 Z28 engine and the bracket looks just like the zfool photo of his engine.

    Need to rebuild my left front caliper... been to EI hitting "the point" in my Rubicon lately! Stop by my shop some time, give you the whirlwind tour.
