Hello, did all 1973 LT type option Camaro's come with Air conditioning? Or was that an option that still needed to be bought for an additional price? Thank you for your help.

LT was just a trim option which didn't include much of the meat and potatoes parts. In the case of the Z28/LT, you actually lost the trim instead of getting more. (a pay more-get less option)

    From the site:
1973 Type LT - Included 2 barrel 165hp V8, 7" rally wheels, variable ratio power steering, hidden wipers, blackout rocker sills and moldings, sport mirrors right and left, full instrumentation (U14), extra body and hood insulation, deluxe seat trim, bright beaded woodgrain trim on the instrument panel and doors and LT emblems on the steering wheel and exterior. You could combine RPO Z28 with the LT.

What trim did you lose with the LT? The Z28 emblems? The stripes were an option on the standard 73 Z. Type LT Z could not be ordered with stripes.

There was no RPO for the Type LT .all options need an RPO. It was its own model like caprice and impala . Same car , different model . Sport coupe and Type LT . That's why something were not available on the Type LT and somethings were unique to the Type LT , to keep the models identity .
