Just an observation, the passenger side door latch and screws have been painted over and the driver side have not been. Also, the trunk paint spatter doesn't look original. did the seller mention anything about trunk pan replacement or restoration? Here is a picture of the paint in my trunk.

and i don't believe the door latch was in the door when it was painted . i worked at gm in the body shop (GMAD Tarrytown ) from 1980 to 1990 .we built X body and B body cars . for a while i was on the door line and the car went to paint with no latch . the door was fitted though .

He said all floors and trunk pans are orig. Maybe the drivers door Is orig and passenger side was painted. So frustrating. He said the car was repainted over 15 years ago and he owned it for the past 12 years.
    Some more pics just sent

It's a nice looking Z from the pics. We know it was born a Z28 but to be sure of anything you would need to see it in person, just my opinion. Are you going to make an offer?

Don't make any offers until you have seen the car in person!

unfortunately it's a little too far for me to see in person, I need to hire an inspector that will write a report. Does anybody recommend anyone?

The 73 Z's didn't have the rear bumper fangs like the 70-72?
