I bought my replacements from NPD 7 years ago. The ones they said were 1970 Z28 were only four leaf; I selected the ones for the 396, because they at least had five leafs. I haven' t the foggiest idea if they were correct.

General Spring has a better price on the 21-297 (OE # 480879) than
I paid from www.sdtrucksprings.com but dont know what their
shipping would be as I got GOOD Total Price
    The 21-297 is spec for 70 L-48, L-34 and I hope L-78

General had reply/info when I entered the 21-345 or 21-285

They are a distributor and not a mfg....but I could call and ask
    what they know...

I still need to ask what EATON will say their ML1061 above fits ???

The selection was specifically a 1970 Camaro Z28.

Could I ask exactly what spring you ordered from Eaton? Four or five leaf? Thanks, Bill

    5 leaf.

It was a long time ago and I can't remember the part number. Not even sure I still have the receipt for them...sorry.

Well, tomorrow I'm installing Eaton's ML1061 leaf springs in my '70 Z28. I didn't de-arch so am hoping it will sit correctly. I stripped and detailed the springs. Had to order new blank bands from Eaton. Had to cut the length and make the hole for the tab. Took some doing and had pretty good luck with that. All takes time. I'll post photos of how the car sets after installation.

Looking very nice Bill...especially the stenciled PN. Just out of curiosity, the original springs I've seen have had white stenciled PNs. Just curious how you decided on yellow. I'm beginning this process soon on my 70Z project and trying to learn as much as I can.
