Saw this 70 z28 survivor, what is this hole? Looks factory, recessed into the fender
That fender isn't original that car. It's unique to a 74 and 75 camaro due to the cut out. I don't have a picture on hand to post. But I'm sure someone else will take this further.
Yep that car might be a survivor but that fender isn't. At least not from 1970. As stated above 74 and 75.

Yes I saw it too. I did alert the owner of the car about it. It sort of cell on deff ears. He really didn't want to hear about it.

Easy to spot replacement fenders have an indent in this location. Not punched through. Some restorers will weld a panel here to create the as assembly line built flush surface
Late 74 to 75. Anyone with a June to August build z with a earlier or later fender would be happy to trade. There is a thread on it here.
