I'll look at the A/C box that came out of my 70 RS/SS and see if it's still in any shape to reuse. I took it out years ago and it's sitting outside of my shop in a pile of old parts that just haven't made their way to the scrap yard yet. I think I still have the inside box too, but I need to look at it. My plan was to use Vintage Air so I won't need any of that old factory stuff.

Reguarding to wiper assembly. Since you Camaro is an SS. You will need what is called a hiden wiper set up. These items that you need are common. There are several memebers that have parts that you need. Post your needs in the swap meet section. Welcome to this site, has a bunch of great members with alot of knowledge to help with any questions that you might have. Great looking project. Shawn

Thank you. Look forward to all your help and the opportunity to meet all the members on this site. I just retired and this is my way of keeping busy. I had one of these cars in my youth and want to relive it. I hope to have my garage built in the next month to start the project. As you can see I have a lot of parts needed. You mention Vintage air you are using. Can you tell me what that is? Thank Ken

I haven't purchased anything yet, but this is what I was looking to use. I may end up with the "builder series" because it let's you customize the system. I'm running a newer EFI engine and it is also has a turbo system on it.

I have the AC parts I removed from my 71. The outer box has a hole in it probably from some one bashing the engine into it when they were swapping it out is my best guess. I can get you pics of it if you'd like.
