That's what I'm finding out. Maybe my old one's will work.
Mine from my '70 are still i
n decent condition. So I will try to clean them with something and reuse them.
Definitely don't toss those 70 ones out. I've only come across one so far that was on a bumper I bought and I keep it to know what the hell it looks like.
Just like the windshield trim "eyebrows", a lot of cars are missing the rubber end pieces.
To the OP and those looking for 70-72 bumper cushions, read this thread http://www.nastyz28.com/forum/threads/teaser-70-72-rear-bumper-cushions.259767/ and contact l16pilot. He might still have some.
I bought a pair and they look great. I had one original and you can't tell the difference.
I have my original eyebrows too!!
Those look great! I didn't know the smaller ones covered 72 as well. Thanks for the info.
Sure. Glad I could help. Tell him I sent ya. He will charge you more and give me a kick-back (I wish).
I think once I am done restoring my car I will upload all of the links and contacts I have found along the way. i must have a hundred links to suppliers for this and that.
Thanks for the props Dave Just a note...anyone buying off my website, email me that you're a NastyZ member and I'll send you a Paypal invoice for the discounted amount. It's a couple of bucks, but just my way of saying thanks to MM for having this site. Oh, and sorry, no kick backs, but if you make it to the Camaro Nats in June, I'll buy you a beer...
Hope to make it this year. Beer is the only "kickback" that matters anyway. As long as its good beer. Since my friend opened a brewery, I've become a bit of a beer snob.
