    Where you talking about the end pieces or the rubber that went from end to end on the face of the bumper?

    I thought you were talking about the VF3 code deluxe bumpers.

    VF3 was discontinued in 73 as the bumpers were strengthend .

    They called them deluxe but I really wasn't very fond of them. I think they only made like 16-1700 total from 701/2-73. There's a guy here that searched aimlessly for a rub strip. His was beat up pretty bad, He finally found one.

    haroldpo6, you may already know this but the rubber end pieces for a 70 are shorter and don't cover up as much as the inner bumper end as the later years (72-73). Not sure about 71. Different part numbers too from what I remember.

    I haven't seen the 70 ones repopped yet from the bigger retailers, but sometimes rare parts like this will show up on eBay that have been repopped by smaller vendors or someone making a few here and there. The longer ones that I've seen being repopped now don't look like OEM at all.
