Anybody have an opinion on if these:

would work for a 1970 with AM-FM and rear speaker and if they are a quality repop? I have the rear fader-knob assembly already. So I really will only use the black knobs for on-off/volume and the other for station tuning and one of the inners for the tone.

I got the 4 piece set of repop controls for a 1970 a couple of years ago. I bought them on line but I don't recall the vendor or the manufacturer. The tuning and volume control knobs were good but the tone and fader controls were not a good fit, they had too much slop. They probably could have been shimmed for a better fit but as my original tone and fader knobs were decent I'm using them.

My car doesn’t have rear speaker either.

Without the rear fader, what does the right inner knob do? That is where my fader knob is. I thought that would be just a dummy (no extension arm) knob.

Its original? Interesting. I thought they were just round then. Learn something new every day.

Yea. I always thought it was odd it did nothing. Maybe that is what they grabbed off the shelf that day. Maybe a Monday or Friday car. LOL

I think mine was a Saturday night car. The janitor and night watchman built it.

As far as I know on the early 70's Camaro/GM, AM and AM/FM radios the left inner knob controls the tone (Bass-Treble). On the right side the outer knob is the tuner control and on radios with a factory rear speaker(s) the inner control is a fader. On cars with a single speaker, as twoz's and 70lt1 noted, the right inner knob is simply round and does not function.
