The 1970 L78 cars had a special tachometer option. (5700 yellow line/6500 red line in a 7000 RPM format)

Was also wondering if the 70 rear one piece low spoiler option showed up on any early 71 production models?

Rear spoiler could be low or high in 71. High was now an RPO instead of COPO. I think it was D80 low D88 high?

I think 71 had it too, but A pillar cover finish is smooth instead of textured.

Along with the gas tank stuff I posted earlier is the single 3/8 fuel line without a return line to tank. This then also leads to the 70 only fuel pump with no return connection. Just try to find one of those NOS sometime.

1970 RPO code D80 = Spoiler Rear Deck > at a cost when ordered for your 1970 was $32.65.
I do seem to think the 71 used the same RPO D80 code to option the spoiler but, it got you a front spoiler for the 1971 Camaro's as well.
Maybe we can do a confirm on this?

OK. I'm just not sure how it worked to specify what size rear spoiler. Was it still D80 or was there another code for the tall spoiler option?

    Reno NV,
How about the 10 bolt rear end? Wasn't 70 the 8.2 inch and the 71 and up the 8.5 GM corporate?

When did they start putting foam in rear seats , i know my two 70's where made of cloth, inside and had no place , indentions, for rear seat belts made into them. I know by 73 they had foam.
