    Hey All!
A bunch of us Gen 2 fans got together recently and a conversation came up regarding parts that were "unique" to the 70 Camaro model year only.
One of the guys made the statement that there was over a 100 parts that were 70 only.
We started listing off what we knew collectively and I don't think we got more than 30 or so.
Just thought this may be a great thing to post here as many of the most passionate and knowledgeable in the Gen 2 hobby come here to share.
Hopefully you all will chime in!

Would like to start this off with a few of the easier ones and see how many we all can list!

    :Rear defroster
    :Trunk pan

    Lots and lots.
Wiring harness (corner markers don't blink with turn signals)
interior sail panels (screw hole is in different spot...pretty sure different than 71)
Dash corner vents (look close....the vent petals are smooth...no texture)
Windshield rear view mirror (large silver, and 2 designs of those in 70...count twice?)
Seat tracks(adjustment handle on side...71 later in front)
    Windshield washer bottle
    two horns
Left side front inner fender(no depression for charcoal canister...at least until late April or so)
Hood hinges(I think three versions in 70)
Gas cap (vented...at least on cars NOT for California)
    Glove compartment door
    12 bolt rearend
I can think of more if we want to really drill down into options....rear seat shoulder belts!

    • Steering wheel
    • Steering wheel shroud
    • Rear end bump stops for axle ('70 is not the bolt in rubber)
    • Head rests
    • Deluxe door panels
    • Hurst Shifter handle (different for '70Z compared to '71 & up)
    • Engine HP after '70 was lower

Muncie trans (coarse spline input/TH350 output size 70 only) and due to this....
    Driveshafts are different.

    Lets keep it going...
    • Headlight pull switch knob
    • Trunk emblem script "Camaro by Chevrolet"
    • C emblem on the header panel
Not sure we will get anywhere near 100...most manufacturers make small tweaks but limit the scope of changes for production cost reasons.

    Radio knobs
    Cigarette lighter (knob thing)
Quarter panels (up to ~mid JUNE CORRECTED...door jamb impression "small")
Lower Valance(up to ~late May...no holes for spoiler, but this may not count as I don't think the PN ever changed)
Trim tag (for Z28...no Z until second week April)
Gas tank (see previous vented cap thing)
Tail Lights (inside housings are white)
Here's one I am not 100% positive on....Emergency flasher knob on steering column
    Windshield "eyebrows"
