    70's and 80's would probably be Ray Ban's.

    Didn't they wear those spring loaded ones that you could flip up/down as you needed? You know, the ones that would flip down on the bridge of your nose so hard it would make your eyes tear up just as the ball was about to give you a concussion....

    ron i think is on to something but i vaguely rememember a sun shield that attatched to the brim of the hat. they could pull it down to cover there eyes then flip it back up.

    i wish oakley still made their "blade" sunglasses that were very popular back in the 80's
