I ordered my wheels last week and they should be here tomorrow. I ordered a 17x8 front with a 4.5 backspace and a 17x9.5 rear with a 5.5 backspace. I read that the 5.5 backspace would fit perfect on these cars. But I have ran into a problem, my car is supposed to be factory ride height but the front looks like it sits 2in lower than the rear. Would 2in drop springs on the rear make the car sit level? Because I'm gonna have to run a 275 40 17 in the rear with 9.5 wheels. And the only way they look good on these cars is with them lowered some.

You should be fine at 2" down from stock

Mine is lowered about 2.5 to 3 inches in the rear and I've got 285 50 18s on which no clearance issues. Back wheels are 9.5 inches with 5.5 backspace. You'll be fine.

285 50 18? Is that a typo? Haven't heard of anyone running that size before. That's over 29" tall.

20170825_205513.jpg Got the back tires in today, the fronts will be in tomorrow. For the money the US 701 Wheels are hard to beat. Can't wait to put them on the car. It'll look 10x better, I should have put 17s on it a long time ago.

I got the back ones on this evening, I'll be putting the front ones on Monday. Definitely makes the car look a lot better, and a big upgrade over the Vette rallys. I believe I'm just gonna use a 1in lowering block to level it out some. I figured the 275 40s would look small but they dont. A 1in block would make it about right for me. I seriously need to clean the car up but have been working 6 days a week and haven't had the time to do anything. 20170826_193824.jpg

Looks like you and I share the same wheels and tire size.
I'm running Keith's Custom Works lowered front and rear springs.
No rubbing, even on the Autocross track.
