General Description
1970 - 1972 - used an externally regulated alternator (generator) with a voltage regulator.

Alternator Usage
1970 - 1971: 37 or 42 amp standard with 61 amp heavy duty
1972: 37 amp standard, 61 amp heavy duty
1973 - 1980: 32, 37, 42 standard, 55 amps optional, 60 - 63 amp (with A/C)
1981 uses the same alternators but has a 70 amp available
1980 uses metric fasteners.
