If you're talking about the vacuum modulator, it goes to manifold vacuum. Either into a fitting in the manifold or the base of the carb.

If I used a 231/239 cam in a 350 I'd use a 3500, no less.

How high is high? I've been using the same size crank & pump pulley, seems to work OK. I only go to about 63-6400.
