Yeah sorry I don't have a close up at this time.
I do know that it has a weighted back pressure plate....and the only thing i could think it was for was emissions. Its built into the manifold. and its only on the right side.
It has a Hurst shifter and a late Z28 emblem in the steering wheel.
so your saying both shifter and steering wheel are not factory?
Right, the Hurst and horn emblem are not original equipment.
I know the original Steering wheel is above the 1st owners bar in Calgary. He kept every steering wheel off every car he owned to hang above the bar. The shifter he must have installed himself as well. Its been In the car since 1985 for sure. I always kinda wondered why a munchie 4 gear had a Hurst shifter?
The Hurst shiftier is the preferred shifter, Chevy cheaped out and put their own brand in 73s and newer. Trans am still got Hurst. Your wheel is correct ,just the emblem is wrong.

785 interior would be for an LT Camaro and I do not think it was available for a plain Z28.
Your car could be a LT/Z28 (like mine) but then the stripes and Z28 badging would be incorrect.
Any pictures of the trim tag?
The car does not have Type LT door panels.
