1/8 Scale Camaro Mods

    I haven't seen this model yet, so I'm not certain about this car, but one of the easiest ways to boost the power of a electric r/c is to add a battery in series to the cars battery pack. More cells=more cubic inches....Instant horsepower.

    Wouldn't that cause the motor to burn up. Would think that you would have to upgrade that also.

    I have the '57 chev and '69 camaro in the series.We race them in my shop on linoleum tile floor.Traction is an issue so we use the wide ,gum colored rubber bands.One each on outer edges of tires on high spots.Try and get them as straight as possible.Eventually they come off but work good for short runs.

    Like I said, I haven't seen this car, but I don't think a little boost in voltage would hurt much. One cell will add only 1.2 volts with a rechargeable cell or 1.5 volts with an alkaline.
