74 Z28 Original Fuel Pump Number!
Does anyone know what the correct original AC fuel pump number that came on the 74 Z28? Based on some searching, I located part # 40987 and 40777.
Which one is correct?
Thanks,
George

My 1974 Chevrolet Parts Catalog (July 1974) lists GM # 6470310 in Gr. 3.900 as the fuel pump part number the 73-75 Camaro w/4BC (350).
GM # 6470310 = AC # 40777

wouldn't the 74 z28 have the deep canister fuel pump that the the 75 and all non Z28 4 bbl motors ( 73 -75 ) would not have. this would mean the correct fuel line will not fit ?? a while back a member had a issue with finding a replacement factory fuel line ( pump to carb ). all the replacement stuff was for the short base pump . my point being there were 2 pumps with 2 different fuel lines ? ?
