Pics of my 81.

Sorry if this is the wrong section. I was bored tonight, and took some pictures of my car. I know some of em are kinda dark, but the sun was going down and I couldn't stop it. So here's the pics, tell me what you guys think!

Looks pretty good, Nate. I like black interiors. Did you replace the springs? The stance looks a little elevated. Engine looks clean, also. ZF.

ZF - As far as I know, the springs are stock. I just degreased the engine - due to my tranny cooler line breaking and coating my engine with about 3 quarts of fluid.

74RAT - I tried to mount it on the dash. Unfortunately, I found out there is nothing under the dash for me to screw it to That's why I have to little screw holes on the top of my dash. The location of the tach is temporary, until I buy Autometer gauges and do what April did (I want to do the exact same thing, but using different gauges).

Thanks for the kudos!

Man good ol 5 spoke craggers..Thats what my bud had back in 80 on his Z.. Looks good..If you go thru the left center vent with a 1/4 inch piece of alum.you can have a sweet tach mount.. Ill try to put up pics of mine.. it sits right at eye height or just a tad lower...

Yes, they're 14" rims

They're Keystones - a cheap Cragar knockoff.

Hulk - post some pics up of where you have your tach, and maybe I'll change where it's at.

I have my tach down there too, big 5 inch old school Mallory unit. I'll put the shiftlight up in the guage cluster or right on the column. When I had the factory hood I mounted it outside but when I swapped to the 4 inch fiberglass cowl piece I have now I moved it inside. I'll but the oil pressure and temp guages outside under the back of the cowl.
