What can I use to remove some mild scratches from an aluminum gauge bezel? Aluminum polish?

polish wont do anything but polish it

try fine sand paper, like 2000 grit or finer then polish it. The only thing is you have to sand in one direction. If the 2000 doesn't seem to be working go a lil courser then work your way back up to 2000.

I sanded mine starting from 400 grit to 2000 on a black and decker mouse. Used spray glue to hold the paper to a foam pad. Came out looking good.

I sanded mine like 81'gmach did. Then I used a mothers power ball to finish it off then cleared it. looks like a mirror.
